Jacob W. Allison, 70, of 205 Kentucky, died at 8:20 a. m. today (Nov. 18, 1966) in St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient for two days. He had resided in Danville for 50 years and was a former employe of the C&EI Railroad. Born Oct. 17, 1896, in Brown County, Ind., he was a son of John and Emma Heck Allison. Surviving are a brother, Otto (J. 0.) Allison of Danville; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Herier and Mrs. Grace O'Connell both of Danville; a nephew and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, in December of 1957 and two brothers. Mr. Allison was a member of the Christian Church and the American Legion Post 210. He was a veteran of World War I. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Barrick & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Eldon Gourley will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 7-9 p. m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p. m. Sunday.
